GRANTED:  EDUCATION & TRAINING TRANSLATES TO SUCCESS

Just to show how serious the Chamber is about promoting and developing the business community in Kechi, the Chamber with the support of the City of Kechi, was awarded $8000 in grant funds from the South Central Kansas Economic Development District to provide technical assistance and education to rural businesses.  Ultimately it's about enhancing business expansion and/or job retention.  Anxious to implement, the Chamber's first investment is towards QuickBook Training Seminars.  The Chamber will continue to explore more training opportunities and invest the funds to maximize the return on investments.
