Business Roundup
FIRST AND FOREMOST, ROUND UP THOSE BUSINESSES!
It's no secret that this year is about growing and building the Chamber's membership. Imagine the delight of the Chamber when the fair announced it's parade theme of "Kechi Roundup." What a slam dunk for an award winning theme for its parade float which the Chamber easily modified to "BUSINESS ROUNDUP." With the craftmanship of some of its more creative members, an old town facade of Kechi was made from scrap lumber. A barn and split rail fence corral completed the float bones which then was tastefully decorated with more props of a windmill, saddles, rope, barbed wire, quilts, horseshoes, sunflowers and more. All of the hard work and team effort brought home the goods. The Chamber won first place, but more importantly, the Chamber was able to showcase itself in front of hundreds (if not thousands) of parade goers who lined the streets of the city. Yes folks, the Chamber is quite alive and well in this fine city.
